International Scientific and Technical Congress and Exhibition «Energetics in Global World» was held in Krasnoyarsk, June 16-18, 2010. Representatives of academic science and higher education institutions, business community of Russia and foreign countries assembled at the site of Siberian Federal University.

Among organizers of this event were International and as a constituent Russian Unions of Scientific and Engineering Associations, Siberian Federal University, Siberian branch of RAS and Scientific Industrial Enterprise «Radio communication», the Government of Russian Federation, Krasnoyarsk region authorities, FEANI, WFEO, executive board of International Award for scientific research «Global Energy», geological and oil and gas deposits development Scientific Council of RAS, as well as JSC «Sibtsvetmetniiproekt».

The participants of the Congress were welcomed by the President of the International Union of Scientific and Technical Societies, RAS academician Y.Gulyaev, Krasnoyarsk Administration Head P.Pimashkov, Siberian Federal University Rector E. Vaganov, President of the Krasnoyarsk State Technical University Graduate Association A.Mikheev.

At the Congress JSC «Sibtsvetmetniiproekt» was presented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors A.Yuzhannikov, Director General S.Ivanov, Development Director S.Fedorov, Project Engineer A.Baranov, Deputy Project Engineer Sh.Nazyrov. Reports on the following topics were presented: «Technocenosis in electrical systems», «Methods of assessing quality of aluminum electrolysis series isolation», «Analysis of options for energy-efficient supply of Ozernoe Mining and Processing Plant (Republic of Buryatia)», «Status, problems and development prospects of world and Russian wind energetics».
